Maccabi Haifa Beitar Jerusalem betting prediction

Betting suggestion:

In a clash between two teams that are candidates for the first places of the classification, but that have been below the expected until now, a highly disputed match is expected, with a lot of hunger for the ball and to win from both sides. Maccabi Haifa attacks much better than what they defend, so it is likely that both teams will be able to create good chances, not least because Beitar Jerusalem also has a good offensive dynamic.

Analysis M Haifa

Trying to win the title of Israeli champion again, Maccabi Haifa has had a start to the championship with some ups and downs, a bit like their main rivals. With six matches played, the team led by coach Barak Bakhar has 10 points and occupies the 5th place in the leaderboard, with the same points as Maccabi Netanya, Bnei Yehuda and Hapoel Kfar Saba. The team reaches this match going through a not-so-good moment, since they come from two consecutive defeats, first in the visit to the Hapoel Haifa ground (2-1) and, last Tuesday, in the trip to the stronghold of Hapoel Kfar Saba (3-2). In this last challenge, Maccabi Haifa even opened the scoreboard, by Arad (22'), but allowed a very strong reaction to the opponent in the second half, setting the final result at 3-2 only at 90+8', through the inevitable Rukavytsya.

Confirmed Lineup: Josh Cohen, Arad Ofri, Bogdan Planić, Sun Menachem, Neta Lavi, Yosef Raz Meir, Tjaronn Chery, José Rodríguez, Mohammad Abu Fani, Nikita Rukavytsya, Dolev Haziza.
Coach: M. Dego.

Analysis Beitar

Beitar Jerusalem is one of the main teams of Ligat ha’Al and entered this edition of the Israeli championship dreaming of qualifying for European competitions next season. For now, the team led by coach Slobodan Drapic has been below expectations, as shown by the fact that they occupy 9th place in the overall standings, with only eight points won in six matches. Last Wednesday, Beitar Jerusalem was surprised in the reception to Maccabi Petach Tikva (1-2), losing in a match in which all goals were scored in the first half. At 18 minutes, Atar still responded to Beitar, fixing the tie two minutes after the first goal conceded, but Drapic's team would suffer again over the interval, eventually failing to get the necessary reaction in the second half.

Confirmed Lineup: Itamar Nitzan, Tal Ben Haim, Antoine Conte, Shay Konstantini, Uri Magbo, Orel Dgani, Ali Muhammad Al Faz, Ofir Kriaf, Idan Vered, Yarden Shua, Eliran Atar.
Coach: Y. Abukasis.
