Known within the poker world as "CaLLitARUSH", Jacob Carl Schindler was born on September 25, 1989, in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, United States. Schindler spent most of his life at Bryn Mawr, where the professional was raised. However, his journey as a professional poker player broke out in 2009, at the age of twenty.

At the time, Schindler was an active player at the largest virtual poker house in the world, PokerStars. His participation in live tournaments started to gain strength that year, playing under the pseudonym "CaLLitARUSH". However, his first major achievement came only in 2013, when he played in the World Championship of Online Poker.
